The set is calibrated for tonal balance, featuring 50s-style formvar wire on the bridge, a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup, and 60s-style enamel wire on the neck pickup for a rich, dynamic range. Alnico 5 beveled magnets enhance articulation, while wax dipping prevents unwanted microphonics.
